Dawn Askew has been on the staff of Meadows School of the Arts since 2002. As Director of Production for the Meadows Production Unit, she oversees costumes, lighting, props, scenery and sound to ensure each production produced by the Performing Arts Divisions is successful.

Askew serves as the technical coordinator for Askew Ballet Theatre in Oklahoma City, OK, and served in the same capacity for Western Oklahoma Ballet Theatre in Clinton, OK from 1988-2015. She has also consulted with several professional and pre-professional dance and theatre companies across the country.

She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Studio Art and Theatre and has experience in all areas and aspects of production including performance, design, construction, painting, direction, crewing and stage management.
